Host Hotel

Our Specialty Host Hotel is the Best Western CottonTree at 10695 Auto Mail Drive, South Jordan, UT. Phone number is 801-523-8484. We have reserved 15 rooms at $121 per night with no maximum number of dogs and no pet fee. The rooms will be available until April 9th after which they will be released to the public. To make your reservation, call and say you are with the Kooikerhondje Specialty group.

Please fill our this form to register for events coming up at the 2025 Nederlandse Kooikerhondje National Specialty! This is NOT your entires into the events, please see the Onofrio website to enter the events. This is to register for special activities. Please reach out to Stephanie Lowe at sklowe3525@yahoo.com with any questions. You can fill out a paper version to mail in using the link on the website if you would rather.

All households attend the National Specialty will be provided a Memory Book in the Welcome Bags. Books will contain information about the national, brag pages about Kooiker Accomplishments, and more! No pictures of Kooikers competing in conformation at the National is allowed. JPG files are preferred and can be submitted to Jennifer Methlie at Jmethlie@comast.net no later than April 16th. You can purchase your memory book ad in the products section below!

NKCUSA Competitions

NKCUSA is providing performance awards for dogs qualifying Thursday in Obedience and Rally, and Friday in Agility and FastCat. Please fill out how many Kooikers you will have competing in each sport. For Komplete Kooiker Entries, please see details at the bottom of the competitions section.

Komplete Kooiker

Celebrating the versatility of the orange-and-white Dutch Breed


Dogs which qualify in two or more different events at the show are declared “Komplete Kooikers” and become eligible to compete for “Highest Hondje” at the NKCUSA dinner on Saturday night. Events are conformation (‘qualify’ means winning a breed class with at least one other competitor), and performance events available at the show, currently agility, obedience, rally and FastCat.


Competitors may enter different classes within the same event category but must qualify in a minimum of two separate events (such as conformation and obedience or agility and rally and FastCat).


The Highest Hondje will be crowned based on the total overall qualifying events in all categories for the three eligible days.


All Komplete Kooikers will be awarded a special ribbon and the Highest Hondje will be awarded a special prize.


Competitors must declare which events they are entering by submitting the Komplete Kooiker entry form. Please fill our one form for each dog entered. Note: Dog may enter more than 2 different events but must qualify in two separate event categories.
